These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pala mobile app and website (the "Service"), operated by Blueicon LTD ("Pala", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction) to use Pala. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
Pala offers free and paid features. Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play in accordance with their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't use Pala for anything illegal, harmful, hateful or infringing.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Don't send content that violates the rights of others.
- Don't upload content that is not yours to share.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the voice recordings and messages you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process, store and transmit this content solely to operate, provide and improve the Service.
6. AI-generated content
Replies from AI friends are generated automatically and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them for professional, medical, legal or financial advice.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks and branding, is owned by Blueicon LTD and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any such rights to you.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blueicon LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory local law says otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know in the app or via email.
